Kool & the Gang dead in Maplewood? Most of you probably won't care for this.. Actually, scratch that, none of you will care for this, but I just read that a Kool & the Gang co-founder died in my town. It's odd seeing "Maplewood" in a national news story in connection with the writer of one of my favorite and sometimes hated Filipino party tunes.
